Esprit Womens Health is a state-of-the-art medical office providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care. Many services are available to their patients in their office, including 3D/4D ultrasound, amniocentesis, prenatal and therapeutic massage.
Michael A. Genord, M.D. is a board-certified ob/gyn and a well respected member of the medical community. He is affiliated with Beaumont Health System, Royal Oak. Dr. Genord has more than 15 years experience in private practice, along with an experienced staff who has worked with him for several years. Our patients are the focus of all we do and our commitment is providing the highest quality of care and service to each patient treated.
As a solo practitioner, Dr. Genord enjoys the opportunity to really know each patient and be directly involved with all aspects of their care. Dr. Genord shares call with Dr. Lana Powell of Comprehensive Women’s Health. Dr. Powell is a board-certified and well respected Beaumont ob/gyn who is also committed to providing compassionate and high level care to every patient.

About Dr. Michael Genord
Dr. Genord is a board-certified Ob/Gyn. He has been on staff at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak since 1997. His professional affiliations include the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland County Medical Society, and the Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Genord has served on the Board of Directors of the Oakland County Medical Society since 2005, and served as President of OCMS from 2008-2009. He also serves on the Legislative Committee, the Peer Review & Mediation Committee, and is a Delegate to MSMS. He is also a board member of United Physicians.
Dr. Genord is committed to the quality and integrity of the medical profession in his private practice and also in the larger community. He has been a member of the Gynecology Quality Assessment Committee at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak since 2002 and has chaired the committee since October 2006.
About Dr. Genord’s Virtual Pregnancy Project
The Interactive You is an educational program, developed by Dr. Mike Genord of Esprit Womens Health that features a virtual family going through pregnancy in real time, through online and social platforms that we all use everyday. Along with Metro You Magazine and Video Vision 360, they have brought the virtual couple to life and follow their journey from preconception to the postpartum period, and every detail in between.
