Caitlin Glazier and Bob Busch Wedding
Just like any other wedding day, the girls spent the morning sharing stories as they do each others’ makeup and gushing over the most beautiful dresses and jewelry as the Autumn leaves change colors before their very eyes. Meanwhile, across town, the guys are cracking jokes, making toasts over cold beers and finally straightening their ties and Ray Bans as the clock ticks down. These pre-wedding activities might be fairly common amongst young people these days, but there is nothing common about the couple that makes up the Busch Wedding.
Prior to the ceremony and reception, the lovely couple broke customary wedding tradition and revealed themselves at the Glazier house in Big Rapids of west Michigan. This lead to a rather entertaining shoot at an Amish farm just down the road. With chickens clucking in the distance and horse pulled buggies mosey down the dirt roads, you find the bridesmaids and groomsmen posing in half sarcastic ways barn-side. After an hour of fun, the Busch Wedding Party made their way to the reception space at Tullymore Golf Resort where friends and family await.
Not only was the cake tremendous and the buffet delicious, but the scenery of the outdoor reception – complete with a beating October sun and trees shedding the most vivacious colored leaves – was a sight to be seen. The couple said their vows, high-fived their marriage into motion and then graced the guests with a rap duet of the Beastie Boys.
As you can imagine, the rest of the night was filled with breathtaking moments, moving speeches, lots of dancing and a welcoming to “the Marriage Club”.
Special thanks to Nicole Marie Balsamo for “making our ears happy” with the song “Running Back to You“
